Can you take plaquenil with propapanolol

So far I have no more energy than when I first started and has developed neuropathy which I have just found out from Web MD that this neuropathy is one of the side effects of this med! Saying that by stopping this it would take another 6 months to build up the benefit. There are other meds that can help with what you are experiencing, and if your doctor didn't address that then I would seek out a second opinion... Please don't stop your plaquenil until you are sure it is the right thing to do and in your best interest.

It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is within 12 hours of your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. What Is Plaquenil? Plaquenil hydroxychloroquine is an antimalarial medication used to treat or prevent malaria, a disease caused by parasites, which enter the body through the bite of a mosquito. Plaquenil is also used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and discoid or systemic lupus erythematosus. Plaquenil is available in generic form. If you don't have to, don't stop your plaquenil. I stopped taking the plaquenil the beginning of December. It doesn't agree with my stomach I take it with meals too. And since I hadn't had a miraculous recovery the 6 months I'd been on it, I didn't think there was any harm in stopping it.

Plaquenil is a 6-weeker as far as the benefits are concerned, but it would be more dangerous to stop if you spend a lot of time outside and if this were the summer. Or maybe another doctor if you're not comfortable w/your current one.
